Hi, I am Asim from Hyderabad. I am a graduate with a Bachelors, moving to the USA on a student visa, January 2015 intake. My main intention is not studying though. I have my wife and 2 kids to take care of who also will have to join me at least after a couple of months. I would like to know if I could find a good job, in fact what kind of jobs can I get. I have more than 9 years of work experience (medical transcription). Would also like to know about finding an accomodation and getting admission for my kids in some school. Which states/places in the US are preferrable for a foreigner like me? Would it be illegal to work full-time on a student visa? Can I work more than one part-time jobs and work for 8-10 hrs a day? Would there be any ill effects of not attending college that I got admitted to with my student visa? What would I have to do to get a full-time work permit to work in the USA without having to attend my college?
